Hire Melbourne Jukebox and the renter agree to the following rental contract:

  1. Hire Melbourne Jukebox agrees to rent to the Renter, and the Renter agrees to rent from Hire Melbourne Jukebox, the equipment listed in the chosen package. Under NO circumstances is any equipment to be removed from the premises that we have delivered to or transfer the contract to another party without written consent. The equipment must remain under cover at all times.
     
  2. Rental period - will last from the time of delivery till the arranged pick up time, which will be discussed and agreed between Hire Melbourne Jukebox and the Renter. If the Renter does not present the equipment to Hire Melbourne Jukebox at the time and date when the equipment rented has been agreed to be picked up, the Renter will incur an additional rental charge of $250 per day for each day or partial day beyond the end of the rental period until the equipment is returned.
     
  3. Damaged/Lost Equipment - Renter will return the equipment to Hire Melbourne Jukebox in the same good condition as received. If the equipment is damaged before the Renter returns it, the Renter will be responsible for the cost of repair, up to the replacement cost of the equipment. If the equipment is lost before Renter can return it, Renter will pay Hire Melbourne Jukebox its full replacement cost.
     
  4. Hire Melbourne Jukebox reserves the right to not set up a machine or equipment if the environment is deemed to be unsafe for the equipment, or for the driver to set it up if the location is not safely accessible due to stairs, elevation and steep terrain. Please advise at the time of booking if there is stairs etc. A further delivery charge will be made if two deliverers need to be sent.
     
  5. If a client helps a driver to set up the equipment, this is their decision and we do not accept responsibility if the customer injures themselves in any way.
     
  6. Heat Policy – Machines may not operate to their optimum in hot conditions. On days where it is 30 degrees or higher, Hire Melbourne Jukebox recommends the equipment be placed inside and most definitely not in direct sunlight. If Hire Melbourne Jukebox recommendations is ignored then the reliability of the machines will not be guaranteed and refunds not given.
     
  7. Cancellation Policy –Hire Melbourne Jukebox requires to be informed in writing of cancellations as soon as possible by the original hirer & will take effect from the date on the email. A deposit refund of your booking price (Less 10%) will be given if more than 7 days notice is given. Within 7 days of your function date there is no deposit refund.  If Hire Melbourne Jukebox attends at an address for delivery and the booking is cancelled, all monies paid will be kept.
     
  8. Public holidays and public holiday eve’s attract a price surcharge.
     
  9. Delivery is free to most areas of Melbourne. Check our delivery map for all our   areas. Outside of the delivery area additional charges will be incurred.
     
  10. Equipment pick up on the same night can be arranged from 10pm-2am. An additional fee of $60 applies to a night pick up. (Example: Function in a hall or venue).
     
  11. Hire Melbourne Jukebox  agrees to defend, indemnify, assume liability for and hold  harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, suits, proceedings,  penalties, expenses or other liabilities including attorney fees and court costs, arising  out of or resulting from the use of the Equipment, regardless of the basis.
